MiraGEL is a complete mini electrophoresis system that requires no external power supply. This stand - alone unit performs runs for all applications from 10V to 150V and 10mA to 400mA. It has a microprocessor controlled continuous voltage and amperage programming with a large LCD digital real time display. MiraGEL is designed for use as a portable analytical equipment or an easy to fit companion for PCR applications. Universal electrical requirements enables this unit to be used anywhere in the world ?simply plug and run. The gel tank is made of high transparency plastic mold in one piece for leak proof reliable performance. Both the gel tank and gel trays are UV transparent to allow real time run observation. The gel tank lid has a built in magnetic lock switch which offers operator protection from accidental electric shock as well as sample run protection from evaporation because electrophoresis run does not start until the lid is closed. Gel casting is made easy using the casting set and combs provided or purchased separately. Some of our comb accessories are designed to match multichannel pipetting for more efficient gel loading applications.
